Mark Hinshaw is the Connections Pastor in charge of small groups and pastoral care. Before moving to Portland Mark pastored churches in Illinois, Missouri and Indiana. Mark says he and his wife Midge “We have been married for 104 years, 52 for her and 52 for me!” They have 5 kids and 10 grandkids. Both he and Midge are from Richmond, IN and graduates of Olivet Nazarene University. Mark also has an MA from Olivet. He enjoys people, being with friends and telling stories. Mark has a well-developed sense of humor. Midge says it’s warped.
Worship & Outreach Pastor
Aaron is the Worship & Outreach Pastor at The Rock responsible for Sunday morning service and creative outreach to the community. Before coming to The Rock, Aaron served as Youth Minister and Campus Life Director. He and his wife, Krista, were married in 2001 and have 2 beautiful daughters, Sophia and Lydia. The 3 females in the household are redheads, so excitement is never lacking! Aaron is originally from Washington, IN and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University.
Besides road trips, storm chasing, almost all sports, ATV racing, mountain biking, guitar playing, Lego building, spoiling his girls, visiting National Parks, and desperately loving his wife, Aaron really has no hobbies of which to speak.
ROCKids Ministries Director
Heather Keller is the Director of ROCKids Ministries. She attended Huntington University where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Family & Children's Ministry and also in Youth Ministry. While at Huntington University, Heather met her husband Zach and they married in 2013. Heather enjoys reading and coffee. She dreams of one day opening her own coffee shop! Heather and Zach live in Portland with their dog Cooper.
Pam is the office manager at The ROCK and a graduate of Portland High School. Pam completed courses, in adult education at Jay County High School in business and computers. Prior to coming to The ROCK Pam worked in the medical field, in Portland, for 23 years as a receptionist in physicians and surgeons offices and as manager of a homecare agency. Pam married Tom in 1969. They have one son, one grandson and one granddaughter. Pam enjoys playing with her grandchildren, reading, cooking, golf and motorcycling with her husband.
